  • 1. How to post a listing with HOHOJO?

    Please click "List a Space" to start your listing.

  • 2. Are there any restrictions on what I can list?

    HOHOJO is a global rental marketplace for all types of spaces, therefore we accept any listing provided it’s a space to stay, plus, the listing must be in a place that the landlords or hosts have the title of that space for leasing. Also, with our aim at providing a leasing platform to connect landlord and tenants, no agency or relevant service is allowed.

    In the event that we discover a listing that conflict with the above guidelines or Terms and Conditions, HOHOJO may exercise its discretion to limit, suspend, deactivate or cancel your account or listing. Please review HOHOJO Terms and Conditions for further details.

  • 3. How much does it cost if I post a listing with HOHOJO?

    Nothing! It’s absolutely FREE to list with HOHOJO. Once you have created your listing, we will review your listing, we do this is to keep the integrity of our site; normally we will activate your listing in 2 to 3 days.

  • 4. If I have properties in different countries, can I list them all in HOHOJO?

    Yes, you can list your rental spaces with HOHOJO anywhere in the world, however, please note that users may be required to comply with regulations that restrict the use of our site by residents of certain countries.

  • 5. What should I do if I have several accommodations to list?

    HOHOJO allows 1 space for each listing, this is to prevent users mistakenly inquire a space that they are not desired for. If you got several similar spaces to list, such as 3 studio flats in the same building, we suggest you to create separate listings for each of them, as each of them have its own calendar and description, or, if you are a corporate client owning several properties in hand, please contact our corporate landlord team for special package!

  • 1. How to edit my listing?

    Simple steps to edit your listings
    1. click your name in the top of HOHOJO
    2. Select "My Space"
    3. Select the listing you want to edit, click the blue "Edit" button
    4. Use the navigation menu on the top of the edit page to edit each section of your listing

    While you edit, we will automatically saves your changes, changes take up to several hours to be shown to the public.
    For listing under the category of “To Travel”, all changes will only apply to reservation created after the amendment, regardless of the check-in date

  • 2. How can I “turn off” a listing?

    Simple steps to edit your listing
    1.Click your name in the top of HOHOJO
    2.Select "My Space"
    3.Select the listing you want to edit, click the circle button

    Once you have clicked the circle button, your listing status will change from "Listed" to "Unlisted", meaning your listing is no longer in the search result.
    However, any conversation made before "Unlisted" will NOT be affected and you are still able to communicate with your tenants in Dashboard.
    If you wish to turn on your listing, simply unclick the circle button to List it again, your listing will then be available for users' enquiries .

  • 3. Do I have to pre-set my listing start date?

    Once your listing has been verified by us, your listing will go online, so you don’t have to worry about the listing start date anymore!

  • 4. How to set listing address?

    Simple steps to edit your listing
    1.Click your name in the top of HOHOJO
    2.Select "My Space"
    3.Select the listing you want to edit, click the blue "Edit" button
    4.Use the navigation menu on the top of the edit page to edit each section of your listing
    5.Click "Address" in the top navigation bar and head to "Edit Address" button
    6.Edit your address in the "Pop up" box.
    7.Select "Pin Location" button to confirm your amended address.

    While you edit, we will automatically saves your changes, changes take up to several hours to be shown to the public.



Manage Photos
  • 1. How to add and edit photos?

    1.Click your name in the top of HOHOJO
    2.Select "My Space"
    3.Select the listing you want to edit, click the blue "Edit" button
    4.Click "Photos" section in the navigation menu on the top of the edit page
    5.You can either drag and drop photos from your computer right onto the web page to upload multiple pictures or click "Add Photos" button to upload picture one by one.

    We recommend users to upload photos with bigger resolution; we support file size up to 4MB per picture, suggested formats are jpg and png. You can drag and drop photos to re-order the sequence. To delete a photo, just hit the “X” mark on the picture.
    Sometime changes may take up to 15 to 30 minutes to appear on the search result page.

  • 2. Does my listing need any picture?

    Basically you can create a listing without any photo, but we strongly recommend landlord to upload as least 1 picture for their listing, as this would give potential tenants a clear pictures of what you space looks like.
    HOHOJO provides Photography Service for selected areas; our professional photographer will come to your space to take amazing photos, and it’s free!!

  • 3. How to apply for HOHOJO Photography Service?

    All landlords and hosts with at least 1 approved listing are eligible to apply for HOHOJO Photography Service, once your application is accepted, our professional photographer will come to your accommodation to take amazing photos for you, and it’s free!!

    How to apply?
    1.click your name in the top of HOHOJO
    2.Select "My Space"
    3.Select the listing you want to edit, click the blue "Edit" button
    4.Click "Photos" section in the navigation menu on the top of the edit page
    5.Click "Apply" button to suggest your preferred shooting date and time

    Please note that our photography service is a worldwide promotion though, the service may not be available in some markets from time to time, that if you do not see the blue Apply button, this means currently your market is not in the offered area or you have not yet met the application requirement.

  • 4. What happen if I have applied Photography Service?

    After you apply for Photography Service, if you are located in an area where photography service is available, our photographer will email you within 7 days with their contact information attached to arrange a time that suits you both.


    Generally, a photo shoot takes about 30 minutes, while larger spaces may take more to an hour to do so.


    After the photo shoot, our photographers will review and upload applicable pictures with “HOHOJO Verified” watermark to your listing within 2 week time, please note that you can download the watermarked photos from your listing’s page, however, we will not provide copies without HOHOJO watermark.



Messaging
  • 1. How can communicate with my tenant?

    Landlords can make contact with their potential tenants directly by using our secured conversation platform.


    If you got any messages from tenants, landlords can check and reply message directly in the "Dashboard", if you have any unread reply or message, you will see an envelope icon at the top of HOHOJO webpage just next to your login name, the envelope icon will take you to the Dashboard, we will also send you an e-Alert to your registered email as a reminder too.

  • 2. What happened if I receive an Offer?

    We always think beyond the traditional, that's why we are not only acting as a mere rental platform, but also provide a online marketplace for landlords and tenants to manage their rental issues.


    If you received an Offer from your tenant, meaning he/she is so interested into your space and would like to rent it! An offer is a preliminary offer form containing basic rental information such as "Monthly Rental" and "Terms of Rental", once you've an offer from a potential tenant, you will have 7 days to


    1. accept the offer; or
    2. revise the terms and make a counter offer to your potential tenant.

    When the offer is confirmed by both parties, your tenant can make payment to you via our online platform - HOHOPAY, we will only charge a 4.9% service fee per transaction to cover the cost of processing payment, process please visit HOHOPAY for more details.



Payment
  • 1. What is HOHOPAY?

    HOHOPAY is an online platform to handle rental payments between landlords and tenants.


    With HOHOPAY, landlords can collect rental payment online, we only charge a 4.9% service fees per transaction, it’s the best way to simplify your rent collection.

  • 2. How do I receive payment via HOHOPAY?

    Once the landlord got an offer and it is mutually confirmed by both landlord and tenant, tenant can make their payments via HOHOPAY*, while landlord has to set up the Payout Account to collect payment. currently we support the following payments action: (1) Initial Deposit, (2) Further Deposit, (3) First Month Rental and (4) Scheduled Rental Payment. The actual amount paid shall be in accordance with the confirmed offer letter.


    We will inform you once the tenant’s payment is collected and HOHOPAY will transfer the money to you in 2 to 3 days, however, it may take up to 5 to 7 days for the balance to appear on your bank account, depending on your bank.


    *(HOHOJO charges host a 4.9% service fee every time the transaction is completed via HOHOPAY, e.g. if the amount transacted is $100, we will collect $4.9 as the service fee, the actual payout would be $95.1)
